No tariffs, no loss

As both sides had provide reasonable claims about Trump’s tariffs, the debate of Trump ‘s tariffs are in full paly. It is the most crucial world issues in this day and age, because economic problems involve in everyone’s life. From my perspective, I support the side of disagree with Trump. It is because enforcing free trade is public will , tariffs can harm other industries and meaningless to use efforts to pushing people apart.
To begin with, engaging free trade can contribute to lot of benefits, just as Ensuring large-scale organized trade. If don’t carry out free trade, the economic depression will occur. Any sensible person would agree implementing free trade. According to Paul Krugman said “if there were an Economist’s Creed, it would surely contain the affirmations ‘I understand the Principle of Comparative Advantage’ and ‘l advocate Free Trade.” It is reasonable that all the will want to reach the agreement of enforce free trade, why someone don’t want has something like win-win but hurt each other? Because people all like the benefits that brought by free trade, so nor only the tariffs added by Trump are unconscionable but also bring economic decline in both country.
Moreover, to higher the price of steel , would only lead to the industries which require steel as raw material meet a shortage of supplement. Art Carden, the professor of Economics at Samford University once state in his article 1,100+ Economists: No Trump Tariffs:
By raising steel prices, tariffs increase the costs of important inputs into construction , automobile manufacturing , and other industries. The buildings that aren’t built and cars that aren’t made—and the jobs that don’t exist as a result—are impossible to actually see, but they’re real nonetheless (“11000+ Economists: No Trump Tariffs”).
The industries just as construction, automobile manufacturing all will meet shortage if raising steel prices—job position would not exist in the end. This clearly reflect the demerits of Trump’s tariffs that tariffs would give rise to financial harm to relevant field.
Finally, we all know that international conflictions are always caused by restriction laws, for instance tariffs. These laws always let two sides turn their head on opposite side and walk more and more away. As Frederic Bastiat is reputed to have said “when goods don’t cross borders, soldiers will.” When compromise of providing benefits to economic interests can’t reach, the war will come as the result of “solving” the confliction. So, Trump’s tariffs is the sign of unfriendly confliction cause.
In conclusion, although enforce Trump’s tariffs can bring economic profits to domestic American citizens, the demerits of putting this tariffs into effect are far more significant than the merits it bring. My statements mainly in regard to it is public trend to stand with free trade, the harm of other industries brought by raising steel price, and lead confliction between two countries. In general, economic interests is the fundamental concern in communication between the two countries. We all want that China and America can go far more than now, So I wish we can solve this economic problem peacefully and quickly and ultimately be friend with each other. Under this circumstance, two countries can gaining more benefits than they thought.
